December 2025 marked 15 years since Knights was founded, and it’s a milestone that gives me enormous pride.

I set up Knights in 2010 with a simple aim: to build a property business that did things properly. Like many agencies at the time, we started out covering both sales and lettings. However, as the business grew, it became clear that lettings was where our real strength lay.

By 2018, the level of knowledge, experience, and professional qualification within our team was setting us apart from much of the market. We were dealing with increasingly complex legislation, advising landlords through major regulatory change, and consistently delivering better outcomes. That was the point at which we made the decision to focus exclusively on lettings and position Knights as the area’s fully qualified lettings specialists.

Over the last 15 years, we’ve remitted more than £25 million in rent to our landlords, but what matters just as much to me is the trust those figures represent. Many of our clients have been with us for years, and that loyalty has allowed us to build a business that Ross Gardner and I are genuinely proud of.

Knights today is exactly what we set out to create: an agency built on expertise, integrity, and high standards. As we look ahead, our focus remains firmly on continuing to raise standards, supporting our landlords, and delivering a level of service that reflects the experience and professionalism behind the business.
