Brook & Churches Bros Limited, aka Gatwick Group Kia & Mitsubishi, are celebrating 100 years of trading having received a Centenary Certificate from Companies House this month.

The milestone is all the more remarkable as the company, who operate a car dealership on Gatwick Road in Manor Royal, is still owned and run by the same founding family, with 2 generations of the Brook family actively involved in day-to-day operations.

The business first started in Barcombe, Sussex, as a blacksmiths, builders and undertakers which then developed into a service and repair business for automobiles representing Colt Cars (now Mitsubishi) and Renault. In 1986, a second location at Scaynes Hill was acquired to house Mitsubishi's expanding range and also Subaru, then in 1998 came the upgrade to their current facilities on Manor Royal,

The Kia brand arrived in 2007 to complement the Mitsubishi brand which Gatwick Group has represented for over 40 years.

David Brook, Managing Director and grandson of the founder, said, "As a family-run business we offer a relaxed and friendly approach and a consistently high level of customer care, as seen by our Customer Satisfaction Awards. We are very proud to continue to serve the public of Sussex and Surrey for all their Kia and Mitsubishi requirements.".
