A new Sussex & Surrey Institute of Technology (SSIoT) hub will open at Crawley College in October 2025 with a major event marking its official launch.
SSIoT is a collaboration between colleges, universities and employers, offering technical qualifications from Level 3 to Level 7 including T Levels, HNCs and degree apprenticeships, shaped by industry to meet workforce needs with a focus on technology and innovation.
“We’re already working with a growing number of employers and welcome further collaboration from the Manor Royal community. Now is a great time to get involved” said Paul Rolfe, Director of the Sussex & Surrey Institute of Technology.
Support for local businesses includes co-designed training, placements, recruitment support, networking opportunities, venue hire for events and access to modern facilities.
The Crawley College campus will also host the Manor Royal People Conference on 25 September 2025 in the Longley II building.
