Manor Royal Business District will host its annual Manor Royal Matters conference on Tuesday 4 November at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This year’s event carries special significance as it celebrates the 75th anniversary of Manor Royal, bringing together businesses, stakeholders and supporters for a morning of discussion and interactive sessions.
The half-day conference will provide a platform to review the progress achieved in the past year and to assess how Manor Royal continues to evolve as one of the UK’s most dynamic business districts. Alongside plenary sessions, attendees will be able to take part in a series of short, expert-led breakout seminars, exploring the challenges and opportunities facing Manor Royal in the years ahead.
Steve Sawyer, Executive Director of the Manor Royal BID, said:
“Manor Royal is home to a diverse and thriving business community, and Manor Royal Matters provides a vital opportunity for us all to come together, celebrate our successes, and address the issues that will shape our future. This year is especially meaningful as we mark 75 years of Manor Royal as a business location.”
The conference also provides a timely reminder that all Manor Royal BID Levy Paying companies are invited to become members of Manor Royal Business District (MRBD) Limited, the not-for-profit company responsible for delivering the Business Improvement District (BID) Plan.
Membership is FREE for levy payers and provides access to MRBD Limited events and services, as well as the opportunity to vote on BID Company issues at the Annual General Meeting.
In addition, registered members of the BID can also volunteer to join its Board of Directors. The Board is made up of representatives from Manor Royal businesses who help guide delivery of the BID’s five-year plan and ensure the area continues to be a great place to work and trade. These voluntary roles require a commitment of between four to six meetings per year.
