The CSR Brokerage Pilot Initiative, a groundbreaking collaboration between Manor Royal Business District (BID), RPD Foundation, and Crawley Community Action, is already delivering tangible impacts by connecting local businesses with community groups and charities through innovative volunteering opportunities.

Launched to bridge the gap between corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals and local needs, the initiative has swiftly brokered a series of skills-based volunteering roles, empowering employees to contribute their professional expertise while fostering stronger community ties.

In just months since its inception, the program has matched businesses with targeted opportunities that align corporate skills with charity priorities, addressing key challenges in areas like media strategy, diversity initiatives, and operational efficiency. Early successes include the facilitation of high-impact, flexible volunteering that boosts employee engagement and enhances business reputations, all while supporting Crawley's vibrant third sector.

The current Skills-Based and Team Volunteering Opportunities are to help GDWG,  The Posh Club, The Posh Club, Citizen’s Advice and Crawley Open House – see the full details here
